Those not associated with payroll deductions

As a non-profit, community-based organization, River Fund, Inc. functions solely upon contributions. This happens in a number of ways, either through employee donor programs by way of payroll deductions, by grants provided by various foundations, or by individuals providing contributions as independent donors.

Independent donors typically contribute on a one-time basis or annually at the beginning of our annual campaign each July. Of course, contributions are graciously received for any amount from one dollar on up. Because of sound financial policy, close scrutiny by certified public accountants providing total transparency, operating expenses are kept under 18%. Our goal is to remain there.

For our supporters wishing to contribute as an independent donor, there are two options available as to how funds should be directed:

1. UNRESTRICTED - Funds are posted in the General Fund Account for crisis intervention situations such as healthcare, loss of life, energy, food shelter, and other major hardships on a case-by-case basis following strict guidelines.

2. RESTRICTED - Donors may wish to designate contributions to a specific LOCAL non-profit organization of their choice provided that the organization meet certain River Fund guidelines as a 501(C)(3) charitable organization located within the River Fund service area.

Individuals making contributions starting at the $250 level become members of River Giver Leadership which is recognized in four categories: BRONZE - $250, SILVER - $500, GOLD - $1000, and PLATINUM - $2500.

Please take a moment to download the Independent Donor Form below, complete the required information and, if paying through Pay Pal, check the applicable box on the Donor Form and mail or fax to the River Fund offices. We accept all major credit cards through our Pay Pal account system. If you prefer to send us a check, please make payable to River Fund, Inc. and mail with your completed Donor Form.
