Veterans Poker Run

Join us for a scenic 60-mile round-trip ride through the Colorado River valley and across the beautiful Colorado River, collect five playing cards and turn in your poker hand for a chance to win prizes on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in conjunction with the Mayhem Motorcycle Rally coming up April 25-28 in the sister cities of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada. All proceeds from this event benefit River Fund’s Veterans Assistance Fund, helping military veterans in need in the Tri-state area since 2013.

The stops will be announced on event day and you’ll travel to five locations to pick a playing card for a chance to build a winning poker hand. Basically, this is our version of a “5-Card Draw” poker game. The last stop on this trek will be the Ink Mayhem Tattoo Convention at Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce at Bullhead Community Park, where the winning hands will be determined and prizes awarded to the best ones.

Entry is $35 for each rider and includes a meal ticket for breakfast at the Moose Lodge and an event t-shirt (while supplies last). Add a passenger for $15, which includes a meal ticket (no t-shirt). Entries also will be accepted at the beginning of the run, starting at 8 a.m. on April 27 at the Loyal Order of the Moose lodge, 2620 Miracle Mile in Bullhead City. Entrants who sign up on event day will receive a meal ticket but t-shirts will only be available while supplies last. Use the button below or click here to register.

Bring your entry sheet with your cards noted on it to the Ink Mayhem Tattoo Convention at Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce – 1251 Highway 95 at Bullhead Community Park – no later than 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, and we’ll compare all the poker hands and award prizes to the winners.

All the proceeds from this 11th annual event benefit River Fund’s Veterans Assistance Fund, which helps military veterans in need in the Colorado River region by providing emergency shelter and rent, auto and appliance repairs, utility assistance and a long list of other necessities for the men and women who served our country in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.

The Veterans Poker Run – the brainshild of Bullhead City Fire Department Captain Ryan Granath and the Men of Fire Motorcycle Club – began in 2013 alongside the popular Laughlin River Run motorcycle rally. When that rally ended after 35 years of bring bikers to the Colorado River region area during the last week in April, Mayhem Motorcycle Rally stepped in to help continue this important fundraiser.

Mayhem Motorcycle Rally, is coming up April 25-28, 2024, in Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada, along the beautiful Colorado River. This popular event includes two charity poker runs, free concerts and vendors at Bullhead Community Park, the Ink Mayhem Tattoo Convention and much more.
